Volunteer eligibility

HCA offers a Volunteen Program designed for people between 16 and 18 years old. Opportunities for students to be able to see what the inner workings of a hospital are really like. Many of our Volunteens go on to pursue a career in the medical field. Parental consent is required.

Volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcome.
AFC is looking for passionate, reliable team players who are patient, creative, energetic, positive, compassionate, and organized. These qualities help make every volunteer a valuable part of our team. 

No experience is required—just a willingness to help.

The goal of our volunteer program is to enhance the services that the library provides to the citizens of our counties while providing a satisfying experience for volunteers.  Teen Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. 

 Our mission is clear: to provide critical resources, education, and advocacy to build a resilient Bay County capable of withstanding any challenge. Through our comprehensive programs and unwavering support, we aim to restore not just structures, but the spirit and unity of our community. 

 AMAL, a non profit organization, brings the gift of hope and mobility to those in need.

The word “AMAL” itself means hope, and through our efforts, we strive to uplift and empower individuals by providing essential medical equipment that improves their quality of life.

 Help us to grow our Science and Discovery Exhibits and Programs by volunteering. 

 Become a Smithsonian Digital Volunteer and help us make historical documents and biodiversity data more accessible. 

 Volunteers are the heart and soul of our work and make our mission possible! We can help you find the right match for helping, whether it’s once, a few hours each week, or on a regular basis! We value whatever time you have to offer on a committee, building a home, helping at the ReStore, and other areas that might interest you!
